Yes. Every service we offer is completely free and confidential to clients.
It depends on the service. Pregnancy testing and most other services are available on a walk-in basis or by appointment.
Limited OB ultrasounds are a medical service and do require a scheduled appointment. We also require a positive pregnancy test prior to scheduling.
A positive test is just the beginning. We will talk with you about your next steps, which typically include scheduling a limited OB ultrasound to confirm how far along you are, where the pregnancy is located, and whether it is progressing.
We have connections with a number of community organizations and can refer you to food banks, domestic violence shelters, transitional housing programs, and more.
If we cannot meet a need ourselves, we will do our best to connect you with someone who can.
Please note that Carlisle Area Family Center does not provide or refer for abortions.
LEEM stands for Learning and Earning for Expecting Moms. It is a free, 8-week program where you and your partner meet one on one with a trained volunteer to learn about healthy pregnancy, infant care, budgeting, safe sleep, feeding, and more.
When you complete all eight sessions, you choose a free stroller or pack-n-play for your baby. Any pregnant woman is welcome to enroll by giving us a call.
Please bring a photo ID for identification; insurance is not required.
We’re looking forward to meeting you.
